Deleting a song from the library

You can remove a song from your music library.

Click to select the song you want to remove, then press the Delete key.

The song is removed from your library but it is not deleted from your hard disk. To delete the song file, drag the file in the Finder to the Trash. To see where a song file is located on your disk, select a song in iTunes then choose Get Info from the File menu.
